The incredible list of Underground stations that never opened in West London.
The London Underground is 270 stations big, but there could have been more had certain plans of history gone ahead.
West London is already fairly well served by the Tube network compared with, say, South London, but no-one’s exactly going to complain if travel was even easier.
Tube Line extensions and entirely new Underground lines could have connected certain West Londoners to other areas of the capital both day and night.
But, alas, all we can do now is mourn their non-existence.
Life could have been quite different for some West Londoners
