A surgeon uses London Tube to inspire life-size human body map.

A surgeon has created a life-sized diagram of the human body based on London’s Tube network.

Jonathan Simmonds, a head and neck expert, mapped hundreds of connections and junctions between nerve endings and arteries. He named the zones, colour-coded lines, stations and interchanges with medical terms.

The map stands at almost 6ft when printed out. Fellow medics have praised it as “incredible”.
